We've always been different. Somtimes it seemed
like we saw only ourselves, and sometimes we did. We sort of went through
society's motions (school, work, responsible citizenship), but we always
came back to each other and strained to find the non-routine. We tried
to make things different; we tried to have fun without yielding to society's
cliched offerings. Many times we failed, but we never quit trying, and
we occasionally succeeded.
Keasman Literature was one of our successes. By
that reckoning and for that reason The Keasman Literary Guide is created.
The purpose of this guide is no more complicated
than the title suggests: a guide to Keasman Literature, but it may serve
different purposed to different people (entertainment, criticism, adivce,
fame).
Perhaps there is no greater illustration of our
dissimilarity than something as ambitious and "inessential"
as this guide would seem to be. If you are consumed by such a frame
of mind you have no hope for originality.
